Radiography
Radiography (xrays) still remains the backbone of lameness diagnosis, and high-quality computerised digital radiography systems mean that it is possible to acquire excellent images of the skeleton. This includes regions that were previously hard to image using standard equipment, such as upper limbs, neck, chest and back. Andrew is also available to offer a second opinion on xrays. He can offer his opinion on x-rays to bring greater information and understanding, whether that is to determine a treatment plan and prognosis. He has extensive experience in the reading of radiographs taken at Pre-purchase vetting examinations.

Ultrasonography
Ultrasound is a very valuable diagnostic aid commonly used in the investigation of lameness and orthopaedic conditions such as tendon, ligament and joint diseases. In addition, medication can be administered under ultrasound guidance, improving the precision of treatment and giving us the ultimate confidence that the medication or biological products are reaching the target area.
